2010 Jesus and the world
As we look at Matthew 8-10 we will see that a number of things happened when Jesus confronted the world.
Some were wonderful such as healings; others were frightening such as the statement that some will be thrown outside the kingdom into darkness.
Still others are shocking, such as Jesus’ response to the man who wanted to bury his father, and finally some are alarming, especially the bit about opposition and persecution.
Yet in these chapters we also see much about who Jesus is and we are asked the question “will we choose Jesus or the world?”.
