2016 You are being built

Paul’s encouragement to the Christians at Colossae was that “just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him” (Col 2:6&7). As we look at this letter to the Colossians we hope to use what God said through Paul to grow in our discipleship of Jesus and to be built up in him.

in the second half of the term we will think together about practical aspects of our walk with Jesus: how and why do we pray, does God speak today, how do I deal with temptation, living by faith, honouring God in my work and so on. Many of the preachers will use John White’s book, ‘The Fight’ as a resource.
