If you haven't visited us before or would like to have a little background about the Christ Church family this website contains some information you might find useful.
We know it can be daunting going to a church service for the first time or after having been away for a long while and we try to make our Sunday services as welcoming and understandable to the newcomer as we can. When you visit on a Sunday you will find "Welcomers" at the doors who will be pleased to greet you, answer any questions you may have and show you where to go. After each service tea and coffee will be served during which time there is plenty of opportunity to chat to people.
If you would rather find out about us before attending a service then please feel free to drop in to the office at anytime and we will be happy to show you around and tell you about what goes on here. The office is open from Monday to Thursday 9:30am-2:30pm.
Also if you are new to church or christianity and want to know more of what its all about, Christ Church runs regular courses to help you explore the subject.
It can often be difficult to get to know people when you start coming to a church. Christ Church has a number of mid week homegroups which each meet about twice a month to help people get to know each other, study the Bible together and help each other grow in faith. The homegroups are small groups of people and each group has its own style - some are more formal and others more relaxed and social in style. Some groups meet in the daytime, others in the evening.
Whatever your situation, come and see if Christ Church can help you get more out of life. We would be delighted to see you!
