We are a growing evangelical church committed to Christian worship, teaching, discipleship and evangelism.
We aim to provide a contemporary and informal setting to enable people to discover the real Jesus Christ as presented to us in the Bible. We believe passionately that God continues to speak to his people today through his Word. We also want to be able to help people grow as Christian disciples, to be better equipped to live the Christian life and to take the message of the good news of Jesus to others.
Christ Church brings together four Christian denominations (Baptist, Church of England, Methodist, United Reformed) as one Christian congregation. Our membership also draws in those from other Christian traditions. Essentially, however, we are simply a group of Christians seeking to be faithful to Jesus in our lives and our witness.
We have adopted a mission statement, to follow Jesus in every way, to express our desire to model our own lives upon that of our Lord himself, to follow him as disciples, to show his love practically and to help people come to faith in Jesus Christ.
