PRAYER FOCUS:

29 August: many people are away on holiday so please pray that they may find time to rest and be refreshed. Ask God to help us all to learn how to rest for work and to find our natural rhythms in each day, week, month and year. Pray for those for whom holiday is not possible, that even in the normal things of life they may find space to rest.

5 September: a new term starts today and this week. Thank God for the pattern of holidays and rest. Pray for those who will be involved in education in Schools, Colleges and Universities in the coming term, including students, teachers and other staff. Pray that all would have a desire to see learning take place. Pray also for those who will be working with our children and young people this term. Pray that they may be rooted in Jesus and be used to help our youngsters grow in faith.

REGULAR PRAYER MEETINGS: Usually 4th Monday of each month from 8-9pm in the Worship Area, and on Thursdays as arranged.  We would like to encourage everyone to come to these meetings, whatever your age! Next meetings:  Thursday 9 September at 9.15am, and Monday 27 September at 8pm.
