Overview of this sermon
We studied the passage of Ephesians 2:v1-10 taking a brief tour of the heights of God's grace in Jesus' death and resurrection.
The passage emphasizes the futility of trying to attain our own salvation by comparing us to a corpse and reveals the incredible worth that God gives us demonstrated in our new position in the heavens.
It is from this position that we have been given good works to do, not to repay God, but now we are no longer 'dead' we are able to do them!
Andrew brought us some statements on Sunday that we could meditate on as we read through this passage:
1. Christians are not "better" than anyone else
2. Absolutely No-one is outside of grace
3. What is the motive for our works?
