REMINDERS
For the past few years David Josey has faithfully been collecting the ladies from Binfields’ Close to bring them to Luncheon Club each month, as well as taking them home again. As David is no longer able to offer lifts, we are looking for other people who would be willing to do this. If you are able to help in any way please contact Ruth in the office. It may be that you can collect but not take home, or just help on an occasional basis – we would be delighted to hear from you whatever help you can offer. Luncheon Club meets on the last Tuesday of each month from 12noon to 1.30pm. Many of the regulars are not church-goers so it is good to keep in contact with them in this way. You may be aware that Ashleigh and Charlotte Lang and Clare Dooley are going to Morocco on 29 February to help with children’s work for ten days. They are hoping to take small gifts for the children so if you have any of the following items you would like to donate they would be delighted to hear from you: face paints, bracelet making kits, ball games, board games, balloons, tissue paper, art foam, coloured card, glue-sticks, scissors, French skipping, skipping ropes, playing cards, glitter, drawing paper on a roll, memory games, wool, stickers, balloons, inflatable balls. Please either leave any donations in the Church office or contact Ashleigh Lang.

Jesus, me and you
Not so much a course, but more a time during Lent for guided personal study and reflection on the person of Jesus Christ and our relationship with him. Either individually or in groups, we will have opportunities to work out the practical application of what it means to be a follower of Jesus in the world and the church. Five evening sessions of 90 minutes looking at Jesus as Son, Servant, Saviour, Sacrifice and Spirit-filled and what that has to say to us as his disciples.
OTHER Oliver!
The King's School is offering a number of places for the next academic year to pupils of families from local churches and beyond. If you are interested please contact Ruth in the office for further information.
PRAYER FOCUS: Thank God for the community within which you live. Praise him for those who serve that community - for Councillors, Police, Teachers, Care Workers, Housing Officers, Refuse Collectors and many, many more. As we thank God for all who serve in our community thank him for those from our church who are serving in many paid and voluntary ways in our community. Then pray that God would open up more doors where we can serve him in the communities in which we live. REGULAR PRAYER MEETINGS: Usually 4th Monday of each month from 8-9pm in the Worship Area. We would like to encourage everyone to come to these meetings, whatever your age! Next meeting – Monday, 27 February. Weekly Prayer Diary: PLEASE PRAY FOR: Anna Sadler (lymphoma); Ron (severe emphysema and asbestosis and consistently extremely short of breath); Harvey (undiagnosed vascular problem that causes large open ulcers on his legs); Sandy (brain tumour – recovering from operation), Graham, Robert and Mark; Bob and Dot Ellsmore (struggling with health issues, with the problems of old age and memory loss not helping their situation); Keith (in rehabilitation unit following a motorbike accident), Sally, Samantha and Stephanie Dodd; Chris Parker (in rehabilitation unit following a car accident); Claire Whitehouse (19 year old recovering from strokes); Andrew (early onset dementia) and Sarah King and family. If you have any prayer requests, write them on the prayer board in the welcome area or pass them to Ruth in the office. CHRIST CHURCH EVENTS
